ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/LECTURER IN ORAL SURGERY
1. He shall ensure smooth and successful completion of the assigned official work entrusted to him by the Head of the Department both regarding the teaching work as well as patient
2. He should be available in the hospital premises during duty hours and as assigned by HOD.
3. He shall consult his seniors whenever he feels necessary in the interest of the
4. Take part in teaching programmes of the department.
5. Helping the post-graduates in preparation of Dissertation and Seminar/Journal club as assigned by HOD

RESIDENT SURGEON
1. The working hours of the resident Surgeons shall be on duty at the Institute during the 24 hours (9.00am to 00 am). While on duty, he shall not leave the premises under any circumstances.
2. The resident Surgeon shall make preliminary round as soon as he arrives at the. Hospital between 00 am and 9.00 am along with the Nursing Superintendent Grade-IIs and shall write detailed noted on the department given to the patient and to appraise the Head of the Department Unit of what all he he has done and of the day to day status of the patients in their respective units and the investigation reports received on each patient.
3. The resident Surgeon shall be at the bedside of critically i'll patients in turn and personally supervise all treatment and contact the Head of the Dept/Unit of the to the Head of the Unit, as the case may be, it he feels that he needs to consult and obtain advice on the treatment to be given to seriously ill patients.
4. The Resident Surgeon shall also complete all entries in the case sheet wherever indicated during the period between 00 am and 9.00am.
5. The Resident Surgeons shall utilize the period of between 00 pm and 5.00 pm for review of their patent’s status and update the case sheet filling.
6. The Resident Surgeon shall also be responsible to see that the case sheets are maintained satisfactorily by the staff nurse concerned such as sequence of the sheets in the case record, nurse’s notes doctors orders
7. The Resident Surgeon shall see that drugs and injections prescribed/ordered are issued by the staff nurse and that the patient really gets these by verifying the same during his rounds in the morning between 00 am to 9.00 and 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
8. The Resident Surgeons shall meet the officers in the Laboratories/diagnostic departmental and work as liason personnel between their respective departmental/Units and the Diagnostic

4. 5. 3. He/She will be in charge of the radiation sterilization Plant in the absence of Plant Manager, Radiation Sterilization plant .
4. Promote Radiation Sterilization as the better method and advocate increased use of the method to switch over from conventional methods, to achieve commercial success of Radiation Sterilization Plant .
5. Innovate methods and adopt new strategies to maintain steady growth in marketing.
6. Collaborate with other agencies regarding manufacture and irradiation of pre-packed kits and maintain schedules in term of arrival delivery in consultation with Plant Manager, Radiation Sterilization

1. The Officer is in- charge for quality control activities and hence will look after calibration of the radiation facilities calibrate necessary instruments, organize laboratory facilities related to said work.

5. To keep at the hospital premises and surroundings clean
6. To wash to windows on s afternoons
7. To be present in the Office during the working hours
8. To distribute the Central Medical Stores materials to different departments/ wards and offices
9. To assist in bringing materials and stationeries from the stores
10. To arrange all the hospital necessities cleanly and neatly in order
11. To clean the furniture of the office daily
12. To dispose the wastes of the Office according to the instructions of the Matron
13. To protect the property and assets of the Hospital
14. To collect the materials which were left out by oversight by patients and attendants and to hand over the same to Matron for further action
15. To bring refreshments to the officer
16. Closing the department after the staff and officers have left the office/ department and ensure the Electrical equipment’s are switched off before closing the office/ department
17. To attend any extra work entrusted by Matron as and when
